My work centers the narratives of marginalized communities and of African Diasporic Cultures, engaging in black thought, hip hop feminism, and the necessity of the arts. Inspired by the The Harlem Renaissance, The Black Arts Movement, and The Hip Hop Movement, I create story based works laced with genres of Black Music, Pop Culture, Street, Feminist, and Conceptual art, Fashion, and cutting edge digital art trends, focusing on themes of identity, transformation, healing, and empowerment rooted in black culture and the African Diaspora.
